When working on my blog just now, I had an ad pop up for an ultrasound tech degree you can get completely online. Why Google thinks that’s something I’d be interested in is beyond me, but I started wondering how much longer it will be until you can get something like a medical degree online.
Maybe future generations will think I’m an old fart, but I think classroom time and group interaction are important parts of education. Not to mention I like to see educational quality especially in the people that work with me medically. And it’s all the more reason why I still support people like doctors putting their degrees in their office. Don’t think I want my surgeon rocking a degree from Southeastern Montana’s distance education program.
