The former Secretary of Defense was on The Daily Show this week. If you caught it on TV, you missed a significant amount of the conversation. If you didn’t watch it, now is your chance. It’s safe to assume all my readers were around when this man was serving the White House. It’s an important element of history to see his side of the story. With the benefit of hindsight, the people serving George Bush look like terrible people. But at the time, I think the story unfolded in a way history will not remember.
The interview is in three parts, and is quite long for a Daily Show interview. Beyond the details of the interview, these clips really speak to Jon Stewart’s ability to respectfully, and intellectually, have an informed conversation with just about anyone, regardless of his personal feelings.
