Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to learn more about me and subscribe to the RSS feed for free updates from Weakonomics.com.

Borrowing an idea from the Macro Man blog, I want to ask you readers to be the contributor to this post. Below are 20 questions about finance, the economy, and your wallet. Number you answers in the comments, trying to keep everything to one or two words. I don’t want explanations, just want to get an index for how people think, feel, and act. If you don’t know an answer, just leave it blank. The value here is that everyone on the blog will get to feel the same thing. I will not be making comments, as I don’t want my opinions to skew anyone here.

Will the GOP take back the House in November?

4. In some shape or form, there will be more stimulus

6. Obviously depends on the market, but I will say mostly flat – a little down
7. Stagflation for the next few years, but inflation eventually
8. Technically, since I put $0 down and there was a 2% fee I had to finance

10. Wish I could say the Saints, but going to have to pick the Vikings.

14. We already had universal healthcare (anybody could go to ER to get treated & not pay), whether we like it or not

16. I don’t necessarily want more jobs now – I want the correct number of jobs at the correct wages.
17. I’m tempted to say the American influence on the world simply increases all the time, irrespective of any external factors like recessions or presidential elections. So I’d say stronger.
18. I don’t think anyone in a private company is “overpaid.” Salaries are negotiated and then accepted; it’s mutually agreed-upon pay.

20. Spending less is more important for fiscal solvency; earning more is more important for seeing to one’s status in the future.
