Some of you that have read SuperFreakonomics will already be familiar with a study on how an economy works in monkey world. You need to read the book to learn the most fascinating thing about the study, and no the video below does not give it away.
But you still need to watch the video, as the speaker talks about how monkeys make irrational decisions the same way we do. Our propensity to take stupid risks is ingrained in 35 million years of evolution. It’s 20 minutes, and well worth replacing whatever you were going to do during your break this afternoon.
