		<description>I heard it was also the oil companies. A while back we werre paying $4 a gallon. When that happened the oil companies sucked about half the money in the economy to their bank accounts.

Think about it. Every time you went to the pump you spend $40 instead of $20. 

That in turn made it so you didn&#039;t go to Mcdonalds. And it was a chain reaction from there. Take out an extra $20 per fill up eventually leads to you not being able to pay your mortgage.</description>

		<description>Are you sure you&#039;re living in DC?  B/c prices are holding up handsomely and increasing in the DC area.  On the West Coast (SF), things are doing great as well.

I think renting is fine btw, and nobody should fault you for being one.
