A while back we werre paying $4 a gallon. When that happened the oil companies sucked about half the money in the economy to their bank accounts. Think about it. Every time you went to the pump you spend $40 instead of $20. That in turn made it so you didn't go to Mcdonalds. And it was a chain reaction from there. Take out an extra $20 per fill up eventually leads to you not being able to pay your mortgage. I heard it was also the oil companies. A while back we werre paying $4 a gallon.
