The only thing that the American Business Leaders for Financial Reform are in favor of is a Consumer Financial Protection Agency. How in the world is that going to help rein in Wall Street.

It's a good point, but minority shareholders never had a direct say in pay. Shareholder advocacy groups (usually run by minority holders in hedge and mutual funds) will be all over the Say on Pay.

"Do you hate how much CEOs make? Say on Pay will give investors power to help control CEO pay. The SEC will also be able to require firms show 5 year charts of executive compensation relative to stock performance."

- Doesn't an investor already have that power by outing board members (or suing the board) that allow it to happen. No one took advantage of it then and no one will take advantage now
.-= Evan´s last blog ..<a href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/myjourneytomillions/feed/~3/_s0RTFLaVmo/" rel="nofollow">Proof You can only Push High Net Worth and High Income Individuals So Far!</a> =-.

Hopefully the bill will help to put us in a position to reduce our national debt. I am always nervous when the government wants to start and run a new program.
