For the NZer candy corn is a sugary sweet treat that usually comes out this time of year. It kinda looks like corn and is made from corn syrup (fake sugar). It isn't a soft candy or a hard candy - I guess it has a bit of a wax-like texture - it chews easily. It has a bit of a buttery sweet taste - very unique.
