I am one of those rare folks that can't stand football. I hate football season and it drives me nuts how obsessed people get over it. Of course if I have to pick a team, its the Bears. Walter Payton will always be my favorite player. The only sport I watch anymore is hockey. Again I am a rarity but when it comes to professionalism and passion I have yet to find athletes that represent that more than hockey players.

I don't really have a favorite college team, but I'm a die-hard New York Giants fan. Not as bad as my friend, who once showed up late for a wedding reception because of a Giants game. It wasn't even a playoff game.

Go Texas Tech Red Raiders!!!!!

I love football season too, way more into college football than professional but I am doing fantasy football and it really gets you more interested in the games, albeit differently, not actually caring about which team wins but which player gets the ball!

Look forward to the posts on economics of football, all the black-outs this season are interesting aspect.
