There&#039;s not quite a 100 percent consensus just yet, Phil. Fo so long as it remains legal, there will be a group of us arguing that the price you pay for stocks affects the long-term return you obtain from them and that timing is therefore &lt;i&gt;required&lt;/i&gt; for long-term success.
