Instant does carry the benefits because it is crystallized coffee.  In fact the coffee to avoid is french press coffee because that brewing process does not filter out a chemical that is shown to increase bad cholesterol called terpenes.</description>

		<description>Wow, calculating this as a per-use really shows how much you&#039;re saving by switching from the coffee-house habit to making your own. I rarely buy coffee out any more. Three bucks at Starbucks versus less than a dime at home.

I can&#039;t give up the sugar and milk, though :) Maybe I&#039;ll give it another shot, but the last attempt left a bitter taste in my mouth, literally!</description>

		<description>Cheap indeed...! I also drink my coffee black, have for the last 6+ years or more, more for the health reasons than saving $ on milk and sugar, but good point.  Great idea too about &quot;working your way up&quot; if you think black coffee on its own is too strong.  Just dilute with more water.
