HAHA!!! I loved the good, gooder, and you are awesome parts.

Thanks for bringing to light that there are individual traits that matter more than the sexuality ones.

Keep it up....

In my opinion, It is useless to make comparison between man and woman. People see in different angle and different perspective. There is no objective opinion here. Moreover man and woman have different characteristic that really hard to compare. That's why man and woman needs each other.

I can’t tell if you are agreeing or disagreeing with Weak?

I think it might be a mix of agreement and disagreement. I certainly don't think that one sex is better than the other in any overall sense. But I think that one sex might be better than the other in certain particular circumstances.

For example, I think that the population of investment "experts" is too heavily tilted toward males. I think we would benefit from having more female investment "experts."

I think that the population of grade-school teachers might be too heavily tilted toward females. It might be that we would benefit from having more male gradeschool teachers.

The two sexes are equal in an ultimate sense. But I don't think they are the same. Women generally are strong in some areas in which men generally are relatively weak and men generally are strong in some areas in which women generally are relatively weak. And there are exceptions to both general rules.

Rob,

I can't tell if you are agreeing or disagreeing with Weak? His whole post isn't about whether they are different, because of their sex...but rather one is not better than the other. I completely agree with you Weak. This reminds me of a scary time in my life.

I was a 25 year old law school student (only 27 now btw) stuck in Constitutional Law II with a liberal professor, a large female population, and a large minority population. As I raised my hand to discuss how B.S. affirmative action was, my friends already cringing as what they knew I was going to say, I just threw caution to the wind and said something along the lines, "All I want is equality stop trying to label me because I am a white Christian Male."

If "they" (undefined on purpose) want equality stop trying to say one class is better than any other class!

It spits in the face of equality

Realty often spits in the face of equality. That's the rub.

I certainly agree that there are both wonderful woman managers and awful woman managers and wonderful man managers and awful man managers. But I don't buy the idea that there is no difference between man managers and woman managers.

Women as a class have different personality characteristics and different sets of life experiences than men. That means that in some circumstances they make better managers than men and that in other circumstances they make worse managers than men.

That's my take re the matter, in any event.
