I use to be guilty of saying “I don’t care just pick something” and then I realized that it made me seem like I didn’t take any interest in what we were doing. I have since revised my speech to convey that the end result would probably make my happy whatever it ended up being.

I admire that you guys take your time and compare items and cost before purchasing them. My wife and I buy everything with with cash so we have a list of items that want to purchase. My brother is like this.

He did 20 hours of research before on games & PS3s.

We get to Best Buy and he spent ANOTHER 2 HOURS LOOKING AT THE GAMES over and over again

I .. was ready to stab him with my car keys. And people in the store thought I was being unreasonable, but they don’t deal with him on a regular basis doing this.

Yes, I hear you on this one. My wife and I bought a table for our kitchen last week and we went to the store three times, talking about the purchase all week. We knew we were going to buy it the whole time… Plenty of time wasted. If you know, you know.
