Welcome to my first ever subscriber swap.  If you don’t know what one is that’s okay, I only recently figured it out.  Here’s how it works, I’m going to tell you (my readers) about another website that I’m a big fan of.  I want you to subscribe to their feed for ONE WEEK just to see what they’re all about.  I have no doubt that you will find something you like and want to continue to subscribe.  If you don’t want to to continue the subscription then don’t, but at least try it.

It’s called a swap because the other site is also going to do the same thing.  They should subscribe to me, and if they don’t like it then they can unsubscribe.  This is a great way for you readers to get additional exposure to other personal finance blogs.

It’s only appropriate that my first ever subscriber swap be with the only other “omics” blog out there.  Studenomics (not “Stud” but “Student”) is a personal finance blog centered around the personal finance and lives of the college student.  Their environment is very different from the real world, with many students still living as children instead of adults (I sure did).  Studenomics can be seen as a gateway into how college students and twenty-somethings should be preparing for the future.  Some common topics for students are: Benefits of Saving Money For Twenty Somethings, Recession Tips For College Students, and What Does A Recession Mean For A College Student?

It’s not all about the young folks though.  They recently published two lists of common excuses for why people don’t save money part I and part II and an evaluation of the cost of a gym membership.

So as you can see there is something for everyone over at Studenomics.  And I can’t recommend someone without establishing some credentials, he’s currently a business student himself, has already purchased real estate at a young age, and recently gave me some travel tips for my honeymoon plans.  The guy knows his stuff.  Subscribe to Studenomics for a week and you’ll agree.  If you don’t know how RSS works, there is a link at the top or you can get free email updates of all the posts here.
