I've found most social scientists to meet many of the same qualifications you've noted for economists (maybe not the White, Jewish, and Bearded comment, but the other ones, certainly). The 'In Theory' comment in particular sent my mind back to all my psychology courses; the only thing you can say for certain about human behavior is that it will NOT be logical in aggregate. Heh, interesting stuff.
