I do know back during the height of the house buying madness, a coworker managed to buy a $175K house with no down payment on a $26k p/year income. Madness. We asked her how on earth that was possible and she said she didn&#039;t know, but the people at the builders said she had great credit and it was okay, so it must have been.</description>

		<description>On Burton Jablin, TLC and HGTV are actually both Scripps Networks companies so I don&#039;t know that they actually compete against each other. But TV is TV, people shouldn&#039;t make an investment decision based on something on TV any more than they should based on flipping a coin.</description>

		<description>wow, tough call (but interesting article). I would say Cox deserves be at the top of the list as do the mortgage guys (like Mozilo).  I also agree with you that I&#039;m not sure the HGTV guy should be on the list.  Maybe it&#039;s just because I like those shows? :)</description>
