In my house growing up there wasn’t much point in talking on Sunday mornings unless you’ve read the comics in the paper.  We all had favorites, which changed with time.  Most of the ones I liked are either gone or no longer appealing.  Even still, I don’t read the comics in the paper anymore, I just read my favorites online.  I’ve talked to you about XKCD before, today I want to talk about Dilbert.

The idea behind Dilbert sounds conceptually boring. He’s an engineer that works for a large corporation. Everyone he works with hates it there, including Dilbert, and their boss is a moron. Up until now it simply sounds like many of our jobs. An element of realism as added when the cartoonist includes Dilbert’s pets as the smartest characters in the strip.
