I don’t talk about personal finance very much. Qvisory gives me the opportunity to talk more about the subject. I’ve written an original post for the Qvisory blog about interest rates. Specifically understanding the difference between APR and APY on loans. Check it out, it’s a good read.
I know the other writers on Qvisory are not as great as I am (let’s face it no one is), but I can only give you one post a day until you start paying me. Please go over to their blog and read their posts. They cover all types of topics that pertain to the generation of 18-35ers: healthcare, money, insurance, JOBS, college, etc…
Here are some of my favorite posts over the past while:
A great post on behavioral economics. The author mentions a book next on my reading list (no it’s not Star Wars or James Bond).
A great hypothetical about credit cards. Join the discussion about what you would do in that situation.
After college employment. I had a tough time finding a job despite being very qualified for my desired career. It looks like the author here had a similar situation. I still consider myself lucky and am fearful every day that someone at my bank will pull the rug out from under me. This post is near and dear to me because I’ve been through it, and people close to me are going through it now.
