I’m like you in that I exchange emails that are not business related all the time with friends at work. Though sometimes they start in a professional way. I found a nice article that would help a good friend in some marketing research and sent it to her. She sent me back an email with tons of pictures of trashy looking people. I was literally left crying with laughter, and caught the attention of my nearest neighbors.
It took me back to a time when the internet’s primary purpose seemed to be for entertainment. This of course was true when I was in high school and teachers didn’t know how to use the internet. There was a site out there that aggregated the trashiest people you could imagine for your viewing pleasure. My friend’s email reminded me about the site, and I couldn’t wait to get home and have a laugh (the site is blocked at work). Anyway, if you’re like me and like to laugh at other people, check out MulletsGalore.com.
In other news, if you follow me on Twitter (and you should!) you might have noticed I have now purchased an iPhone. I’ll have a full write-up about it Monday. Needless to say I’m in love. The phone isn’t for everyone, but it’s the perfect compromise for a multitude of devices I wanted. I’ll be playing with it all weekend. If you’ve got one, let me know what you think of it!
