That’s a quote from our current president G-Dub or George Bush if you prefer.  It’s one of my favorites, and it came to mind when I came across this story a while back.

You know those people dumb enough to really think Lolly has a $20,000,000 account in Holland that she needs my help to get?  They’ll send her something like $10,000 to help Lolly move the money?  Yeah, turns out they’re probably the same folks that would fall for the two stories in the article below:

Fool #1:  You know I’d really like to sell my business.
Schemer #1:  Well I happen to have a suitcase full of money.  It doesn’t look like money now because “they” put expensive chemicals on it to look just like regular paper.  If you put some other expensive chemicals on there it will restore the money.  I’ll give you $165,000 of my money for you business.
Fool #1: SOLD!

Schemer #2:  Hey you!  Yeah you.  I need your help with something come here.
Fool #2:  Well hello there sir, what can I do ya for?
Schemer #2:  Check this out, I’ve got Canadian money that was chemically altered to be smuggled out of Africa.  It doesn’t look like money now because they were able to hide that.  I need special chemicals to change it back to real money.  Help me out and I’ll give you 40%.
Fool #2:  That’s stupid, prove it!
Schemer #2:  (Pours chemical sample over piece of paper)  It takes about a little while for the ink to restore.  Go grab some coffee and come right back and it should be showing.
Fool #2:  (Goes to get coffee)
Schemer #2:  (Switches paper for real Canadian money)
Fool #2:  (Returns)  Wow!  That’s incredible.  It changed just in those ten minutes all the way to real Canadian money.  How can I help?
Schemer #2:  I need $11,000 to buy the chemicals to restore the rest of the money.
Fool #2:  You got it!

Just think, these people are probably allowed to vote.  Fool #2 received a call back later for more money for more chemicals.  He then decided to call the police.  Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me tw… you fool me I can’t get fooled again.

I give the Weaky to Fool #1 because he lost out on a bunch more, and didn’t even require “proof” that it worked.
