Hello faithful readers.  Today is Saturday August 2nd, and this post was written a few weeks ago.  For the next few days I’m going to be on vacation.  No access to computers, no internet, no blog.  Fear not my friends because I have created a small backlog of posts to fill the void while I’m gone.  That was the good news, the bad news is they are all book reviews.  Now I’m not Trent from The Simple Dollar, I can’t read a finance book and post an extensive review every week.  In fact, up until 2008 I read at the pace of about a book a year.

Only recently have I been able to read a book in a few weeks, and thanks to a library card I’m not breaking the budget anymore.  In the next week I’ll publish 4 short reviews of books that center around business, finance, or economics.  On Friday I’ll publish a list of books I want to read with short descriptions of each.

I haven’t done many book reviews and I promise you haven’t heard of a couple of the books I’m reviewing.  Like you, I think personal finance gets boring quickly, I’d rather be reading Star Wars and James Bond books.  If you’re interested in the books I talk about and want to buy, I would be honored if you searched Amazon.com using the Amazon Search Box on my site.  A small portion of your purchase will go towards funding the hosting expenses for this website.

Well by the time you’re reading this I’m already on vacation, reading Star Wars and James Bond books.

I’ll be back next week and thanks as always for reading.
