Ah Saturday…. I love you.  Though I keep hearing rumblings about the 4-day workweek, which would make me love Friday just as much.  For the record I would love a 4-day workweek.  One less day to commute and the 10 hour day won’t be difficult to me.  There are disadvantages however being unmarried and childless many don’t effect me.  My company has not said anything about moving to this model and I doubt we would unless other banks did.  Oh Well.

Since the beginning of this year I have started keeping a journal.  Not every day, or week, but just whenever I feel like writing something.  It was actually how this blog was started, as I noticed I had plenty to talk about.  The journal talks about what’s going on in my life, and its nice to reflect back on my thoughts from a previous time.  I’m also logging any stock predictions I’ve made.  I was right on bank stocks falling and steel having a great year.  But I was wrong on just as many fronts.  I also talk about my job, my hobbies, and anything else going on in my life.  I’m also scared of getting Alzheimer’s someday and want to log some memories from the first person point of view.  The only thing I’m afraid of is losing my mind.

Instead of recommending a website today, instead I want you to download something.  I’ve noticed quite a few of you are reading the blog at work, and you’re lucky enough to have Firefox.  I’m jealous.  But most of the readers that are accessing the site from home are using Internet Explorer for your web browser.  iPhone users are exempt but everyone else should be using Firefox.  Its the greatest tool for browsing the internet.  If you know how to use Internet Explorer, then you’ll know how to use Firefox.  Go on over to their site and give it a try.  I promise you’ll love it.

Yes I was one of the 8 million or so to download on day 1!  Congrats Mozilla!

My flashback link was my bit last week on our two Bear Stearns fellows. Someone on Wall Street found my post and sent it around to a few folks, so its good to know they are at least reading my stuff. I also gave one of them a Weaky so check that out too. Have a great weekend folks.
