If you’re sick of me talking about cars, I’m sorry. Actually I’m not because I love cars. My link for the day is Edmunds.com, the premier consumer focused automotive site on the internet. They have all kinds of information. My favorite sections are the car reviews and their forums. In the forums you can talk with other people about the cars you’re interested in. I used the forum to get an idea for the right price on my Honda Accord. Their negotiating tips also helped and I paid even less than expected.
Edmunds has an enthusiast site called insideline.com, which I read every day. They recently allowed the readers to vote for awards for their favorite cars, naturally I participated. The fun part was getting to add comments on why you picked on car over the other. Most of what I voted for won in different categories, but I mostly checked out the results to see if they used any of my quotes. As it turns out they did! At the very bottom of the last category (best concept car) my quote was used on why I chose the Audi R8 V12 Le Mans. Click through and read to see what I said. Its literally the last lines of the page, the one about the 12 year old.
