I take the weekends off from the blog. You need breaks even from you hobbies. But that doesn’t mean I still won’t post something. Here’s what we have going on for the near future.

Of course I’m continuing on with the College of Weakonomics, there are about 4 new courses I’m ready to post. I would really like to hear from the regular readers out there what you think of the site and the writing. If there are things you aren’t interested in maybe I won’t focus on that so much. Send me an email philip@weakonomics.com and let me know what’s on your mind.

Other plans include some interviews. Not with celebrities or people you’ve ever heard of, but real people that work in the financial services industry.

This next week I’m going to try a theme. Universal Healthcare Week. We’ll start off Monday with a brief intro and then talk about the pros and cons of the system. The week will wrap up with my personal feelings on the subject.

And what would a weekend edition be without a favorite post and a few links.

The bad information in the public about this Bear Stearns thing really got me fired up. My pick for the week had to be from the bad Digg post.

This is a fun site (to me anyway) if you are interested in the economy at all. The Bureau of Labor Statistics has thousands of pages to play with. It would be fun to work in a group that compiles all this data.

Last week, I recommended Hulu.com for its free access to TV shows. This week I’m suggesting Winding Road for any car enthusiasts out there. Its quality journalism in a magazine layout.

Alright people, I’ll see your Monday for Universal Healthcare Week. Thanks for reading.
