I couldn’t resist the alliteration. The Wap-Up is an attempt to bounce back over a few popular posts of mine. Maybe I’ll throw in some links to other sites, maybe not. But without further delay:
Just how is a Recession like that Jerk at the Gym? was my first post that I spent a few days writing. It holds a special spot on my list and was my first attempt at real original content.
Bear Stearns Sets a Fine Example got some attention I did not expect. For readers that do not run their own site, I use a service called Sitemeter. In short, I can see who visits here, and what they read. That way I know what is popular and what isn’t. As it turns out, some Bear Stearns security people found my article about them. About 15 different Bear Stearns computers viewed my post. Thanks for reading guys and gals.
My article about teaching personal finance at the high school level was also a big hit. This made me very happy; and so I’m contacting a school official next week to see what the plans are for my local high schools. I would love to see if I can do anything to assist.
The College of Weakonomics (COW) has quickly become the backbone for my site. I have ideas for about 20 courses so far, and hope to expand further. Eventually, I would like to publish the collection as a booklet. I will need to collaborate with others in order to do so, interested?
Finally, we will end with some promotion of another site. I like to watch TV online. A few months ago I signed up for a beta service called Hulu. Its now out of beta testing and free to the public. I watch Family Guy, Arrested Development, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and now Firefly on Hulu. Its free and I love it.
Its been a long day. I’m sleeping in, after I curl up in my big bed with my astronomy book. Goodnight America! I love you.
