The one I've enjoyed the most recently, Weakonomist, is "The Four Pillars of Investing" by William Bernstein, although I know some people think it's a bit textbook-y. Another really good one, if a bit controversial, is "The Feminine Mistake" by Leslie Bennets but being a guy you mightn't have any interest in it.

A good critique. I like your insight and applaud anyone who has read enough PF books to have an opinion. That just tells me the points were able to get through. What books would you recommend? I'm almost done with another and need a new one to start.

Well, how SOME rich people got rich, no? The sort to sit through 3 hour interviews for 25 bucks consideration :) I liked <a href="http://www.myopenwallet.net/2005/08/what-color-is-your-millionaire.html?showComment=1125274680000#c112527473699729617" rel="nofollow">Madame X's analysis</a> of some of the books faults.

I'm not going to lie, I generally enjoy personal finance books, but I thought this book was awful, literally one of the most boring pieces of non-fiction I've ever dragged myself through. It's bizarre and sad to me that this is one of the "classic" of books about frugality.
